WCCYM would not exist if it were not for the many volunteers who give up their free time to work with young people in the area.

There are many volunteers from different churches who help out in different ways, from leading youth groups, to running school groups, helping with PA, providing refreshments, and everything else inbetween.

For each main church/group of churches, there is one main person responsible for the youth work.

There are monthly team meetings for these youth workers, to get together to plan events like Thirst, and other joint WCCYM events.
