The Long Sleep is a brand new production that takes a film noir (Casablanca, The Maltese Falcon, Farewell My Lovely) look at the life, death and resurrection of Jesus.

 

Chicago private eye Magnus S Deus is struggling:

¨ Struggling to make an honest living in a city where everyone else is in thrall to de Ville and his mob.

¨ Struggling to get over the death of his partner Harry.

¨ Struggling to impress his new client, Mary Magdalene.

¨ Struggling to silence his pesky voiceover, audible to everyone else, that keeps butting in with home truths at the most inconvenient times.

¨ Struggling with his convictions, or lack of them, and the terrifying implications of putting his trust in Joshua - a new arrival in town who has dared to challenge the powers that be and is consequently on his way to the electric chair.
