The Papworth Team is a group of Anglican churches in the west of the WCCYM area who work jointly on youthwork. Susie Thompson, heads up the youthwork in the team whilst studying for her Masters in Youth & Community Work with CYM (Centre for Youth Ministry). The team covers the parishes of Bourn, Kingston, Caxton, Longstowe, Boxworth, Elsworth, Knapwell, Papworth Everard, Eltisley, Croxton, Toseland, Yelling, Gravely and Papworth St Agnes. That's loads of parishes!
Gradually the work is building... 'Flying Holy Hobnobs' is a group for teenagers that meets fornightly on Sunday evenings, to learn more and encourage each other in following Jesus. Susie also helps with primary school assemblies and two children's clubs, as well as regular input to students at Comberton Village College through a lunchtime Christian Union. In association with WCCYM Susie also helps run 'Rock Solid' youth club in Bourn.
