WCCYM youthworkers work mainly with secondary school age students but also link with local primary school age students to help with the transition to secondary school. We work alongside local village churches in our catchment area to deliver assemblies in their local primary school. We sometimes help with lunch-time clubs or after-school clubs. We occasionally go on school residentials with Yr 6 students, take RE lessons, help with sports clubs. We also strongly recommend the GenR8 team who visit primary schools each term with a fast moving, throught-provoking assembly with a Christian message.
